General tsos beef came out like literal clumps of corn starch - I appreciated the server telling me it didn't look right to him either - after that, I had the “ick” about the beef so I ordered the street noodles instead - they remade the beef anyway and brought me the Thai noodles - thx to our server for the excellent service and to the manager who discounted my meal proactively - the kitchen /sushi bar was off and they seemed very slow for the few people in the restaurant...
I come here regularly and almost always enjoy the food. This time was great because the server recommended a new dish that wasn't on the menu yet when he knew I was looking for something spicy. It got very busy very quickly so having the reservation for a place I usually just walk into felt beneficial.
I usually go for happy hour but dinner was fine. We ordered a hot appetizer and then our entree sushi rolls. They brought it all out at the same time. Said “sorry, the hot food takes longer so sometimes everything comes out together”. Well, that is not a given. If the order is placed through the kitchen properly, a table should be able to enjoy their appetizer and THEN the entrees come out.
