It's a good place to eat. You have to order at the counter. The menus are in front of counter but under in box. They have bbq and Mexican food and steaks . I had shrimp beef and pork rib fajitas. Awesome. The pork ribs were delicious would buy by themselves.

Great place to have in Velma. Food quality is good, facilities are nice, and they have a nice variety of things to select on the menu. Great for lunch or dinner!
Continues to go downhill. Frequently waving off half a dozen flies from our food. Unable to detect any cheese on a quesadilla with dry nearly burnt chicken. Employee watching videos on her phone at full volume during two visits. Gets a to-go order wrong and refuses to do anything about it.

Have been to this place several times while working in the area. The last time was very disappointing. Ordered the rib dinner and waited over 1 hour to get my food. 2 gentlemen came in after me and got their rib dinners within minutes. Someone even asked what food I was waiting on, went to check and came back to say they were working on it. 30 minutes later I went to the counter to ask. Dinner came out a few minutes later, but I believe they microwaved the ribs. Shame as there are not many options in that area. Will be looking for others though.

The ribs were heavily smoked as I love them. The brisket was fall apart tender. Holy cow, the barbecue sauce was hot, sweet and had a wonderful Mexican flair. Cumin? The ribeye tacos were also delicious. The salsa was off the hook, outrageously good! Heavy on sun-dried tomatoes, onions and cilantro. The okra was perfect. Crispy not crunchy and a buttery light corn crust. The refried beans, wow super tasty could stand to be slow cooked longer and a tad bit thicker like abuela used to make. Lastly, the Ice-T was strong and of high-quality. Exactly the way I enjoy it. My new favorite barbecue, Mexican restaurant.
We had never stopped here before but I'm so thankful that we did the restaurant was so clean the workers were so friendly and so helpful and so accommodating all of the food was perfect everything was fresh and handmade to order the hamburger patties were real not Frozen and the sourdough buns were amazing the french fries were fresh and hand-cut I can't wait to come back through here again we will definitely be stopping.
Not quite the amazing food it used to be, but still alright. They really went downhill for a while and I wasn't even going there anymore. Someone told me it was better and it definitely is. Service was great! We go there for bbq and a big group went again and we wound up trying everything. None of the bbq is the best ever, but it's all decent. Try it out again!

Bbq used to be great years ago before the founder sold the place. Now the bbq is disgusting, however they make good Tex meX! Had to take point off for bbq being in the name, but it being basically a Mexican restaurant now. Don't order the bbq!
