The scent of Delicious Doughnuts surrounds as you enter the door. The plentiful selection varies from jelly filled to cinnamon rolls. My favorites are buttermilk doughnuts & baked soft light colored cinnamon rolls. ?
These are the doughnuts of my childhood. If you had a sleepover and didn't have a box of these, what even was the point? On a recent trip home to visit my parents, my dad went and got a box of glazed (yeast and OF) and a couple of apple fritters. I swear, they tasted exactly the same as they did 30 years ago - sheer perfection. This is the gold standard for doughnuts. No frills, just flour and sugar and magic, the way the Lord intended.
