“Don’t even start with that “I’m from California so I know blah blah blah about Mexican food.”
Mexican food fans, this is the real deal, authentic, traditional Mexican food. It is a very small restaurant. How small? Well, my car would not fit in the dining area. How small? There is a refrigerator by the bathroom. The refrigerator door and the bathroom door cannot be open at the same time. There are 5 table/booths. There is no English spoken here. Drinks are limited to Mexican Cokes, those other colorful sugary drinks in a bottle, and bottled water. Thankfully, I know how to say in weird sounding Spanish, “dos aquas.”
No chips and salsa on the menu. A torta for my wife and a burrito for me. Both packed with fresh grilled chopped carne asada. My burrito had some seasoned rice, much more meat than rice, though. The guy working the cash register delivered both meals to the table, then returned with the plastic squirt bottles of very good salsa.
An enjoyable tasty dining experience. Eat authentic Mexican food here.
If you are looking for other Mexican restaurants in the area, check out my reviews in my collection "Jalapeno Highway" by Spike S. on Yelp. I've probably been there.“

“Looks like a little family run restaurant. Our server barely spoke English. The guac and cheese dips came out fast and we're very tasty. Portions were good for the prices. The carne asada was much thicker than expected. Seasoned ok.
The fajitas were better than expected. We will come back and try it again“

“Best place to eat in Siloam! The tortas and burritos and fantastic, especially the lengua. Salsas are perfect, the menudo and posole are fresh and delicious, posoles and tortillas have the best masa and the only place around for a quesadilla de mais, totally different from a regular, dry, tasteless quesadilla.“

“First time visiting, it was very crowded and the staff was running around trying to keep up. Food came out fast.
Guac and chips were tasty. The mega margarita was HUGE. The ghost pepper fajitas had a little heat to them. Meat was tender and not chewy.
Good value and tasty.“

“Food was spectacular. The salsa was either too bland or too spicy, but delicious! We got a table as soon as we walked in, which was nice, but our waiter seemed a little shy. The carpeted eating area is definitely a choice ? but super cute and if I'm in the area again, will most likely drop by.“
