No website, no info on the Google page, had no idea this place required reservations. Showed up for dinner and was turned away. Couldn't even come in and have just a beer, no bar seating for even a couple people? The Hofmeister was very curt and just emanating unfriendliness. I get it, small town restaurant, y'all don't do things the same way. But please, if you are going to only seat a certain number of guests in an evening and you require reservations, let people know on your Google listing. We drove an hour to eat at your place, but now won't likely ever try again.

The food was great. We had early reservations and was able to visit before the band started. Staff was friendly and was not annoyed with all the questions we had. Very enjoyable evening.

Gatekeeping owners always ruin a good spot. Maybe theyre good, maybe theyre not, I wouldnt know because they must not like business πŸ™„

It was slow when we got there, the waitress was really nice and very informative. I wish I remembered her name. The dishes we had were indeed authentic German food! A little pricey but delicious lol

This place is a treat in small-town Oklahoma. Very good food, service and hospitality were super and the beer was wonderful.

Unbelievable!! They close at 9 open 3 days a week. Never answered the phone. Get there early, and they say they are done for the night! What? Small town... I get it, but what a rude ass people.. won't be back!! Done.. after reading reviews, I see they need reservation, but did they say that? And reservation..are you serious.. the only thing here to do is the dunes...

You want a genuine German experience, gotta try this one. Big portions of food. Tasty.

Waitress was nice and was able to seat us even when they were fully booked, however everything else about this place was unacceptable the food service was very fast, but after I took my first bite it didn’t taste right, I cut my food in half and saw that the pork was pink, raw, white fat, and cold in the middle. The breading was soft and mushy and not cooked all the way. I spoke to the owner and he returned defensive saying that it was normal, but I showed him the white fat, and the fact that the pork was pink and still raw. He rose his voice at me when I tried to show him what I saw. I stopped eating and left.

Hopefully I don’t get food poisoning but if I do there will be problems

We were in waynoka on Saturday august 17th looking for somewhere to eat. Arrived at this restraunt around 6:30. Posted open. There were a Total of 8 patrons in the restraunt The owner who was sitting at the bar asked us if we had a reservation!! We were quite taken back but replied negatively, we were turned away!! Quite shocked !!!! Extremely disappointed!! Nowhere on the web site is it mentioned Reservation Only!!!!

I spent 5 years in Bavaria, Germany working for the army. This is some of the most authentic food I’ve found stateside. The ham hock and pork shoulder are fantastic. The cordon bleu is amazing, especially with the house made sauce. Decent beer selection. We make sure we eat here every time we go to Little Sahara State park. You won’t be disappointed. Try the pretzel with house mustard.
