Blake’s Barbecue is a new restaurant in Wewoka. It offers big portions and fair prices. The ribs are very tender with meat falling off the bone. The sliced prime brisket is great. The pulled pork is absolutely delicious. The brisket is very tender. The hot link sandwich pleased a husband. The Catfish and brisket sandwich were both so good. The smoked sausage was a hit with the spice. Chopped brisket and grilled chicken were seasoned beautifully. The mac & cheese is a MUST. The mac n cheese is a must. The coleslaw was delicious. The okra was golden brown and NOT overcooked. The cheesy potatoes could have used more cheese but were good. Sides were good sized portions. The restaurant was incredibly clean. The workers were very accommodating. The server was friendly. Service was great. The team dinner catering was easy to work with and the food was excellent. They helped set up tables. Prices are cheaper than BBQ restaurants in surrounding towns. A meal for 4 people was around $85. Two meals were less than $40 with leftovers for 1 more meal. Definitely will go back.
