Wagg's Bar-B-Q Reviews
Unique place to eat. Food is really tasty. I like the salad bar because it has a good variety
Visited for lunch today. The restaurant has a fun vibe with art and local decor — it’s as if a restaurant and an antique shop merged. The restaurant was clean and smelled like amazing BBQ. I had the brisket dinner with corn on the cob and okra. Everything tasted wonderful! The house-made sauce has a lovely kick to it. The brisket was lean, but a touch on the drier side. The staff was very friendly and super attentive. I will definitely come back when I’m in town...read full review
For the two meat bbq, I chose sliced brisket and sausage. The brisket was well smoked tender and not dried out. The sausage was also delicious. The Kirby fries are a home cut style French fry. I would have liked them to be a little crispier but they had great flavor. For my other side, I chose the corn on the cob and was not disappointed. The serving sizes are substantial and are a good value for the price.

Wagg's Bar-B-Q is a must-visit gem in Woodward, offering great decor, service, and food. This oldest restaurant in town serves up delicious meals, including the popular pork sandwich, Wag fries, and beef and beans. The BBQ sauce is a highlight, and the portion sizes are huge at a great price. The attentive staff ensures drinks are always full, and to-go orders are available. The old western-style decorations add to the charm, making it a local favorite. Customers appreciate the well-stocked salad bar, which is fresh and good, and consider Wagg's the best BBQ in town. The brisket and catfish are highly recommended, with some saying the catfish is among the best they've ever had. The restaurant offers good prices and large portions, making it a popular spot for families and locals alike. However, diners should be cautious with the homemade sauce if they have egg allergies, as it contains mayonnaise. Parking is easy to access across a small street. Overall, Wagg's Bar-B-Q remains a beloved place for great food and friendly service.
