IF they are busy , ie. Sunday afternoon they do not have the wait staff to keep up.. Often school kids with no experience and frequent turnover , often after an extended wait the plate would come out luke warm at best.
This is one of those hole in the wall places that people travel to for great food and friendly service. You'll see that the locals have no problem overlooking the condition of the building as they keep the crew busy with both eat in and take out meals. The worn out building may have you worried about cleanliness, but if there are any lulls in customers, staff can be found cleaning.The tamale lunch plate was delicious! Food was delicious, service was good besides my waitress literally interrupting my conversation with my friend every 2 minutes to ask if we were fine. That's a bit much if you ask my opinion. Wish they had a liquor license I love judging margaritas around the state, other than that thank you you for serving
