Everyone but hostess was great! We were nervous with the 50/50 reviews but were very satisfied! Price wasn’t any higher than places with much less fresh food. Hibachi cook and waiter were great. Quantity and quality food was awesome. Just hostess was disappointing. Not excited to be there and, like many places, gave more attention to people on the phone than those in person. This place used to be amazing. Just came in (12/29/24) and the chef burnt everything right in front of all of us. We told him the temp was to hot and he continued to burn everything. Not impressed with this place anymore. So sad. Used to come here once a week and now I don't know if we will be back.
We made a reservation for almost a whole hibachi table for 630pm on a Saturday. We expected a delay. Despite a full restaurant, we were seated by 6:45 with almost immediate service. Our server was polite and professional and got everything right the first time. Our cook was fantastic. Best hibachi we have had in a few years. We take a group of 7-10 out for hibachi regularly but haven’t in a while because we could not find a good place to go in OKC. Now that we know about Tokyo...
