In a sea of many chinese restaurants , House of Wong is a stand out. I loved the service and the food. Its was very fast, the deco and service was amazing. Our server was not only amazing, but funny - Best place after a long day at work. Definitely, deserves to be more popular.

Well it was good while it lasted…. I have been a loyal customer for the last 8 years. However, that changes today when I was in the middle of eating my Chicken Lo mein and found a long piece of black hair wrapped around a piece of the broccoli.
When I politely informed the restaurant of this mistake (because everyone makes mistakes), instead of rectifying the issue and offering an apology she made excuses stating that the “cooks are all old and only have white hair”. As if there aren’t other people who are in and out of their kitchen with dark hair. The lady at the counter including herself both have dark hair.
I am disgusted, & since you guys clearly don’t value customer loyalty and service I’ll gladly never return again, nor will I put any more of my money into your business.

Second time we bought from here take out. First time the food had no flavour. This time they Fried their wings and spare ribs is stale oil. You can taste it because it has that bitter aftertaste.

I was out and about in Ajax recently and looking for somewhere to have lunch. I'm not sure what possessed me to walk into House of Wong but here I was.
Their regular menu is huge, with over 150 items, mostly Canadian style Chinese food, such as Egg Foo Yong, Chop Suey, Deep Fried Wontons, etc.
Looking over their lunch specials menu, I chose their Curry Chicken with Fried Rice. It was actually better than I expected but not great. It was, however, a good value at only CDN$7.99.

Went to our regular 22 year spot for Chinese food on Christmas Day takeout in 2024 and they were closed. Decided to try House of Wong. A wonderful young lady, Sammy took the phone order with precision. Went to pick up the dinner 20 minutes later, she had the order ready to go...along with a phone at each ear taking additional phone orders, such a pleasant person. She was so professional it was amazing and so was all the food, absolutely fantastic and made ou day, it made our Christmas dinner with family very special. She's a great representative of your establishment, thankyou again for the great service. We'll be back for sure. Happy New Year to you all this location at Ajax. Cheers!
