Review:My experiences at Mathura have been nothing short of exceptional. As a regular patron over the past couple of years, I've savored their delectable South Indian dishes, and I must say, they stand out as the best in the Durham region.Having explored various items from their extensive menu, I can confidently attest to the consistently high quality and tantalizing flavors of their offerings. Each visit leaves me eager for the next. While the location is conveniently situated, it's worth noting that the fixtures and furniture could benefit from an update to enhance the overall ambiance and dining experience. However, what truly distinguishes Mathura is their warm, friendly, and efficient service. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure a pleasant dining experience for every guest. In summary, Mathura is a true gem that I'll continue to frequent time and again. For anyone seeking authentic South Indian cuisine paired with top-notch service, I wholeheartedly recommend a visit to Mathura.Dine-in (due to dated fixtures and furniture)Recommended Dishes:ParottaGhee Mysore Masala DosaSambar IdlySambar VadaButter Paneer DosaGhee RoastCheese DosaRasamSambarPlain DosaPuri

I give madura 5 star for the taste & consistency. Real south indian taste, on the top of that people working are very nice & kind. Only minus point is the sambhar is bit thick, but still recommended.

Really liked the regular Dosa and coconut and tomato Chutney,There only few veg restaurants in Ajax and this is amongst the popular one.Sambar was thick n tasty, it only lacked sourness.I would not recommend the butter panner dosa not at all good, it’s like they mashed the panner mukhani in dosa.

I think this is the best Dosa I have had in Durham. We had the masala dosa, tomato and onion uttapam and medhu vadha. The service was excellent, the food was tasty and I am looking forward to coming here again.
I had a terrible experience at this restaurant. The food was mediocre at best.

Food was average. Service was good, staff was courteous. I ordered a Payasam, that was not good at all. Firstly I thought they forgot, had to remind them. When it came it was REALLY BAD. I will not recommend Payasam to anyone here. They added vermicelli in milk with some dry fruits. I left it as it is. Someone should look into this. Thanks

It has a old 90s vibe or something similar to a udupi restaurant. Visited this place after hearing some good reviews. Taste vise everything was good, I was disappointed by their butter paneer dosa as it had no paneer. Server said they grate paneer inside but still there was no sign of any strand, it was just gravy on a plain dosa.Putting a small description on menu would have been helpful.
