Located in Pickering Village, you have the option to sit indoors or outdoors. We chose to sit outdoors because we had some very excited children.
I ordered the chicken paprikash, my friends ordered the platter for two and my man ordered schnitzel. I love that they prepared and served the children's food first, knowing that they can be impatient. The service was great and our server checked in on us regularly. All of it was excellent! We were all sampling each other's dishes and would definitely go back again. Very reasonably priced and lots of free parking.
Went with family, schnitzel was dry, I got a steak and it was small and paper thin. They had one server for entire restaurant - kept having to call server over to order… was there for 3 hours because everything took so long.
Great place in the village. Enjoyed warm French coffee noon soup with garlic bread on a chilly winters day.

We went there tonight for the first time and it was absolutely fantastic. Will 100% be back. The four of us had various schnitzel entrees and shared a bruschetta. Thanks for an amazing meal

First time since Covid and we were very disappointed in the food quality. I understand there is a “new” owner. The main course (schnitzel) was dry but the red cabbage was good. I am a dessert guy and the apple strudel was not flaky. Like something you would see in a confectionary store…flat and tasteless and the ice cream was the worst I have ever had….. it was more like no-name ice cream. I did not finish the ice cream so that must tell you something. Buying cheap product and serving it to customers ticks me off. Posting menu prices only to find the food more expensive in the menus at the restaurant seems suspect too. The owner was absent so we couldn’t provide any feedback.

Delicious grilled meal! There are Gillette pork chops (cutlet), German sausage, thick-cut ham, sauerkraut, potatoes, and broccoli! Meal for 2, but the portion is huge...
