Pickering Village Ice Cream Shoppe offers a variety of Kawartha ice cream flavors at reasonable prices. The quaint interior creates a nice experience, although some flavors advertised online may not be available. Customers enjoy unique flavors like Wolf Paws and often choose favorites like Cookie and Cream. The shop is always busy, showing how tasty the ice cream is, and it curbs cravings. Families appreciate the nice and tasty ice creams, although some feel the prices are a bit high compared to the shop's ambience. The courtyard seating area has room for improvement, but it is still a good spot for kids. After events like piano recitals, it is a great place to celebrate with sweet treats. Parking is ample, although there may be stairs on the outside facing Kingston.
