“I recently tried Liv's Ice Cream and was genuinely impressed. The Dutch Crunch ice cream was absolutely phenomenal—rich and satisfying without being overly sweet. What stood out most was how clean it left my palate. Hints of vanilla , caramel and cinnamon hit my palate so nicely, however, instead of that heavy, sugary aftertaste that many ice creams have, it was balanced, refreshing, and left me wanting another spoonful.
I also loved the attention to detail. Everything was clearly labeled, including ingredients, which is a huge plus. Knowing that Liv's is a small local pop-up business based right here in Ajax makes the experience even better. They travel all around the GTA which I'm very grateful for as well as I caught them in Scarborough.
The mango popsicle was equally fantastic. It tasted exactly like crushed mango turned into an icy treat—dense, flavourful, and incredibly refreshing. You could really taste the quality of the ingredients.
If you're looking to support a local business while enjoying some truly outstanding frozen treats, I highly recommend Liv's Ice Cream. I'll definitely be back for more and would recommend to absolutely anyone!“

“I honestly can’t say enough good things about the Pickering Village Ice Cream Shoppe. If you're looking for the perfect spot to satisfy a sweet tooth, this is definitely the place.
First off, the abundance of flavors is mind-blowing. They feature Kawartha Dairy ice cream and the selection is massive—I believe they have around 60 different flavors! Whether you’re a classic vanilla fan or looking for something adventurous like Black Raspberry Thunder, you’re going to find something you love. They even have excellent options for dietary needs, including gluten-free cones and lactose-free sorbets, which is such a thoughtful touch.
The pricing is very fair for the quality and portion sizes you get. It’s rare to find a place that offers such a premium product without breaking the bank, so it’s easy to justify stopping by for a treat whenever the craving hits.
What really seals the deal, though, is the customer service. Every time I’ve been, the staff has been warm, welcoming, and genuinely patient, even when the shop is busy. They clearly take pride in what they do. Between the amazing selection, the cozy courtyard setting, and the friendly team, this place has easily become my go-to spot. Highly recommend!“

“Had an amazing first experience here! The staff member who helped me was incredibly kind, and she even wished me a happy birthday (even though it wasn’t, haha!).
I built a delicious mix of chocolate birthday cake and vanilla bean ice cream loaded with Oreo pieces, brownie bits, Skor bits, rainbow sprinkles, and caramel sauce. I will definitely be back!“

“The classic “Puffs” - small round donuts, are vegan with multiple sauce options. They are indicated on the menu with a little green leaf next to them. They are open really late with seating and the staff I talked to were lovely. Overall good take out treat option. Updated from previous review on 2026-07-27“

“We always order our birthday cakes from here because they have the best customer service. We also like to visit regularly during the year with our children. The workers here are always kind and patient, especially when I take a long time to decide which flavour to buy. LOL.“

“Working the area I was looking for a new spot to eat during my lunch hour. I just got to say I am instantly hooked on the eggplant sandwich with sweet peppers. “Originally, there was a small hiccup with my ordered unicorn cake. Mistakes happen, I get it. After a few discussions, it was corrected and prepared for my 6 year old daughter. Upon seeing the cake, my daughter literally yelled out with excitement and said (direct quote) " This is the best cake I have ever seen!".“

“I had my daughter's 8th Birthday at the Whitby location today and I was beyond happy! Hareem and her team were fantastic! Hareem always answered emails, text messages and made it all happen like she promised! She made sure all the children were always involved and comfortable. Everyone had a great time. . . especially the birthday girl! I highly recommend Menchie's Whitby for birthday parties. . . we were definitely pleased! Thank you again to Hareem and her wonderful team! 😊“

“Love this place!! Employees are very kind, but management needs to do better with putting more staff on at a time. Having one worker during a Friday evening in June is a recipe for chaos. Managing online orders, an in person queue, and phone calls all at once is unfair. Do better!“
