I'm disappointed to say the least. I used to frequent What a Bagel on Spadina Avenue in Toronto, so when I discovered Ajax had the same shop, I ordered a few items for my family. I decided to try the Caesar salad, but $14 for a little bowl of lettuce, small crumbles, and pre-packaged shredded cheese? You've got to be kidding me. Next time, it's definitely Kettleman’s for me.

Always great food however… Ordered a dozen bagels, cream cheese, tuna salad , egg salad, cookies, five rugelach and bagel to go. Spent over $77. Was informed they no longer have bags but could purchase one for $0.35. I just dropped a lot of money and they want me to pay? I was a regular there and felt they could have just thrown in a bag! Won’t be back out of principle. Would rather drive to Thornhill and get my stuff from Bagel Nash.Place is a bit of a joke.

Rude staff, cashier onSunday feb 4, 2024 at around 4:30pm, we asked her if the meat is halal, she said yes, asked her for halal certificate and she said some where around here and ignored, dint bother to show. The other girl was friendly packing the bagels. But, never showed if it's halal friendly as it says on the sign of the store. Kindly request to train your staff, as its doubtful if anything is halal.Thank you

Very sad and disappointed to see this place has gone downhill massively. We have been long time patrons...and I mean we were the very first customers who attended their opening day. Upon walking in, we were shocked at how dirty the dining area was...the tables, chairs, floors and washrooms were all filthy. I mentioned to the staff that the tables needed cleaning so that we can sit and eat...she came over, swiped the cloth on the table for two seconds and left. I gave up and cleaned the table and chairs myself with some napkins. The chicken parmesan sandwich was small compared to the size we've been getting in the past and the amount of sweet potato fries we got were also very minimal. The spicy mayo is now half the size it used to be. They also changed the sweet potato fries to another brand...they used to be thicker and longer, these are just straight up shoestring...shriveled and mostly what I think is tempura batter coating. We both left feeling very hungry, normally we are stuffed! Overall, terrible value for money and very little care is being taken to clean the premises. I shudder to think what condition their kitchen/prep area must be in. They also discontinued my favourite sweet cheese horseshoe. So it's true as they say...all good things do come to an end and for us, this is the end.

CAME HERE TWO TIMES THIS WEEK! My partner and I ordered the same thing as last time. We love the breakfast here. He ordered the breakfast special with plain bagel and I ordered the optimal egg white without goat cheese and add the artichoke vegan spread!! Sooo good! Can’t wait to go back! Great service keep it upVegetarian options: Lots of veggie options I’m vegetarian and I’m going back

They've recently expanded their location to include a seating area. Many menu items to fall in love with. Great staff, and clean environment. The place can get quite busy, especially on the weekends with the line out the door.
