The food is absolutely amazing and so is the service! Definitely one of the best restaurants in Almonte and the greater Ottawa area! Can’t wait to go back :)

Cafe Postino has been our favourite restaurant for many years. The food, the atmosphere, the service have always been top notch. So it was a surprise that my husband was disappointed in his recent Sunday lunch. My husband had ordered the Gamberoni, only to find that it was mediocre in taste and not worth the price. On the other hand, I ordered the Chimera Pizza, and it was delicious. So perhaps it's time for the Gamberoni to be removed from the menu, as it doesn't seem to reach the very high level of the rest of the menu items.

Stellar experience at the Cafe Postino. From service, to the quality of the pizza, the smell inside and the decoration! The pizza was one of the best I had in my life. The crust was thin enough and had that wooden flavor you want, the size is generous and the combination of toppings are well worked out. The chef is Italian and you can see him working his magic. Had the Postino pizza. It was delicious and the salami was so good and from Calabre (where he’s from). It’s a must do if you pass by Almonte! I highly recommend the place!

Had a lovely late dinner here last weekend. Place was full, but was able to call in advance and make a reservation. Was recommended a couple dishes which we tried and were very pleased with. Cool spot, if you are in Almonte it’s definitely worth a stop for a meal. Will return when in the area. Older gentleman was our waiter and he did a wonderful job making all feel relaxed and welcome and also had a very good grasp of the menu. Overall a very nice evening out!

This is our second time here. The food selection was great. Service was very good - not disturbing, but attentive. Beautiful old restored building. Cafe Postino never, EVER , disappoints. We love coming here for our special occasions. The dining experience is always excellent. Ross has been out server many times and he always gives us amazing service. No matter what we choose from the menu, the food is always fresh and flavourful.
