“I brought my kiddos here today and everyone loved it. The baristas were very friendly and welcoming. We had a variety of beverages and they were all very good. The skull carrot cake was a big hit with my fussy granddaughter! The decor theme was so well put together. There were a variety of things to purchase and we each found something we loved. Unfortunately we dropped a drink off our table and they were so quick to clean it up and even offered a replacement which I did not expect but really appreciated. Such a unique cafe that we hope to frequent often. Thank you to the staff for such a great visit!”

“Amazing people, fantastic food, the atmosphere in the huge parking lot is excellent, low key and quiet :-) They close for the winter when the risk of freezing water pipes increases, and they open up in the spring with a warm greeting and yummy food. 100% recommend.”

The cafe also has a boutique gift shop which sells some gorgeous locally-made items. Would really recommend stopping for a coffee if you're hitting the ski slopes in Pakenham.”

“We’ve been going to Spartan Pizza for years, and it has always been our favourite pizza place in Carleton Place. Now it’s our favourite shawarma place too!

We recently ordered catering for a family lunch, and they were more than happy to put together a custom shawarma platter for us. The food was fantastic, and everyone kept commenting on how good everything tasted.

We couldn’t be happier with both the food and the service. Great local restaurant and easily one of the best places to eat in Carleton Place. Five stars from us — we’re already looking forward to our next meal!”
