It was always good but new owners have vaulted this spot into my top tier. Offering insanely delicious quesadillas, tacos, platters, sandwiches, with all meats smoked in-house and kid-friendly choices like hot dogs, fries and poutine available. Big portions at tiny prices and a nice colourful seating area and friendly service. Grab napkins some of these things are drippy and you'll lick the box!! Pics to come.
My sister and brother in law came for a visit so we walked to The Cuban Mix for lunch yesterday. It was my first time there since the new owners took over. I had a hot dog and fries and my sister and brother in law had the Cuban sandwich. The food was excellent and the service outstanding ! We sat at one of the tables to eat our food. A must stop! Stumbled upon this place one day, and we've been back twice now.The birria and fish tacos are so good! Nice flavor on the meat and the cream sauce is so good. $5/taco is a great price for the food.
