Excellent especially the pineapple chicken, the special rice was great.
Visited Almonte for the first time, and this restaurant is amazing! Looking for somewhere to eat, this restaurant has a welcoming storefront and was one of the only places open at the time. The owners are so kind, especially considering the fact the restaurant was empty and still were enthusiastic to serve us. They also recommended some places to visit while we were visiting! I haven't had Chinese food for a while so we ordered some. I don't understand the negative reviews here. The lady I spoke to was very nice and the food was great. I especially enjoyed the chicken egg foo young and pork dumplings. The chicken fried rice was also very good. We don't order out often, but will definitely order here again.

recommended the ginger chicken with noodles and the chow mein. The egg rolls and wonton soup tasted homemade and delicious. Despite the dated atmosphere, the restaurant was spotless. The Shanghai noodles and stir-fried veggies were a hit. The couple running the place were friendly and accommodating, ensuring a pleasant experience. The fried rice was really good, and the garlic chicken soo guy was a standout. Overall, a pleasant surprise in the local Chinese food scene, with plans to return and try more dishes next time.
