Pleasantly surprised at how good this food is. Been trying Chinese places in the area and have been disappointed in the past, but had been missing out by bypassing this little place. Atmosphere rated low because it is clearly dated, however it was SPOTLESS inside.Egg rolls are closed ended and taste homemade, as does the wonton soup.The garlic chicken soo guy was very good. The ginger chicken with noodles was flavourful and the noodles had a great crisp to them. The chow mein was tasty and the fried rice was really good.All in all we will be ordering again and sampling new dishes next time. Thanks!

Ordered the Shanghai noodles, low mein and stir fried veggies. The lady on the phone was super nice to recommend that we get the thin noodles for the low mein and it turned out to be SO delicious. The couple running the restaurant were clearly very busy with orders but they were kind enough to try their best to make sure I wasn't waiting too long. Will definitely be going back because they absolutely nailed the flavour for traditional Chinese food.

Awesome local staple of Almonte. Not fancy but been here for ages and the owners are truly a part of the community. When I was a teen they would literally get up at any hour of the day to cook food and deliver. My friends' parents have stories of it from when they were younger.

The lady on the phone was rude (angry tone actually), and after telling us they only take cash gives us a total that’s much higher than on the menu - “that’s the pre Covid prices” by way of explanation. Sure costs have gone up but not cool not to be charging as advertised…Wasn’t the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had but not the greatest either.

This was my third and last time to obtain a meal from this establishment. It still doesn’t accept debit, cash only. The hot and sour soup was pink and visually looked un appetizing. Curried shrimp meal, well, I think dried shrimps were used. Job to find them. The establishment now has a fancy web site that gives one an impression of professionalism when it comes to producing meals . Don’t get hooked on that like I did. Entry into the restaurant is dismal and certainly makes one ask if anyone actually dines there.

It seems the best places are always a "hole in the wall". Don't let the building fool you.Mary is the best and the food here is to die for. I absolutely love their chicken balls they just melt in your mouth. Definately reccommend!

Empty Ike a ghost town! I understand it used to be a Great restaurant but Holy catfish not so much when I went. I ordered egg rolls and hot & sour soup. The egg rolls were just ok. The soup left a whole lot to be desired. It was a gloopy gummy mess barely any Hot to it at all. Waaaaay to much cornstarch.I do not recommend this place.
