I don’t complain about food generally, but this was an experience Ive never had before. We were excited for chinese food and it looked so good from the website! The lady was very nice, and no issue with the people or service. We ordered and everything was fine, we picked up, and paid. Then we ate… and everything was bland and almost weird tasting. i LOVE fried rice, and this was just something else in a bad way. To further disappoint, price didnt match what was shown online. We were also short a meal. Having paid $51 we received $35 of food (according to their website). Thank you for making food when we were hungy, but what we recieved was disappointing for taste, upset tummies, and price. We’ve also never thrown away food the way we did, especially having paid a lot of money for. If I read the reviews before ordering, I would have still ordered because I have just never had an experience this poor.

I moved to the area in 2021 and tried this place for Chinese food. It was terrible. Fast forward to May 2025 and I was desperate so I tried it again. Could barely get through half of my combo plate and threw the rest out. Drive to another town if you want food that is edible.

First time here. The only thing I had a problem with is the chicken fried rice & the orange sauce. It definitely wasn't like what I've had before. Sorry this is my opinion.

Food is delicious, and they're very clear about wait times when ordering and the need to pay cash. Not sure why the reviews are so harsh. Small town staple, kind owners, delicious food, fair prices.

Gross…we threw food out. Cat in restaurant- dirty- only take cash- restaurant empty. Wish I had read reviews before ordering..
The food was decent. The wait for the food was longer than expected (1 hour 15 mins). Also the prices on their website menu do not appear accurate. I was expecting to pay around 50$, and when our food was delivered I was told I owe 74$… if the prices have gone up, that should really be reflected on their menu… I felt scammed.

Probably the worst Chinese Restaurant in Ottawa region, $9 shrimp fried rice had 2 chopped up shrimps in many pieces, Horrible taste too!! only Accept cash only?? Maybe CRA should run some audit at this place. It seems shady that they dont even accept debit that has the cheapest transaction fee ( 10 cents each on any amount ). We had to walk to BMO Atm and paid $3.5 fee to witdraw cash out to pay for a really sad meal. Avoid !!

Pleasantly surprised at how good this food is. Been trying Chinese places in the area and have been disappointed in the past, but had been missing out by bypassing this little place. Atmosphere rated low because it is clearly dated, however it was SPOTLESS inside.Egg rolls are closed ended and taste homemade, as does the wonton soup.The garlic chicken soo guy was very good. The ginger chicken with noodles was flavourful and the noodles had a great crisp to them. The chow mein was tasty and the fried rice was really good.All in all we will be ordering again and sampling new dishes next time. Thanks!

Ordered the Shanghai noodles, low mein and stir fried veggies. The lady on the phone was super nice to recommend that we get the thin noodles for the low mein and it turned out to be SO delicious. The couple running the restaurant were clearly very busy with orders but they were kind enough to try their best to make sure I wasn't waiting too long. Will definitely be going back because they absolutely nailed the flavour for traditional Chinese food.
