Great gift ideas! Delicious vodka.
If you haven't been to Dairy Distillery yet, what are you waiting for?! Not only did they use science to turn milk into an amazing environmentally concious product, the different offerings are all amazing! The Vodka is way better than anything else out on the market and their cream liquors sure beat out the competition (Why buy something Irish, when you can buy a Canadian product made from Canadian Milk?!) Keep up the awesome work, I'll be ordering online today, and hope to visit again in person this winter!
Dietary restrictions: It's made from milk BUT ITS LACTOSE FREE!! HOW COOL IS THAT?
Got a milk or dairy allergy? YOU DONT HAVE TO WORRY!
Parking: Lots of Parking available and worst case, park on the street or next door.

Friends had visited earlier and recommended it, so we joined them for the tour, the tasting (of all 9 liqueurs currently on the go!), and an outdoor lunch from the Pura Vida food truck (also definitely worth the stop). Excellent staff (friendly, knowledgeable), and good fun with the vodka-from-milk cocktails, even for those of us who are lactose intolerant! An excellent day trip from Ottawa and a great addition to the local area. We'll definitely take adult visitors there.
Great tasting and very original products. Very clean and tastefully presented. Relaxed and professional service. We plan to come back for more.
Love the bar and patio, and the Vodkow of course! They host some fun events like the Sunday markets and paint night, plus they serve some of the tastiest drinks, along with having delicious tacos and burgers available at the food truck onsite.
Great find in the town of Almonte on a day adventure with my wife. For $10 it was a great little tour with a sample flite of all their flavours.
I learned about Vodkow when I saw the pitch on Dragon's Den, and was so excited to learn they were based in Almonte which is a short drive away from Ottawa. I have been keen to go visit the distillery to try out the product and finally got to do so yesterday.
We booked a tour and got to learn all about the process required to make the vodka and cream liqueurs which was quite interesting! And then we got to sample everything they currently have on offer.
We had already had lunch before going but learned there is a taco truck on site for anyone looking to enjoy a meal during their visit! We did stay after the tour to grab some drinks from their cocktail bar, which everyone loved. I only thought to grab a picture of my own cocktail (or in my case mocktail, as I was the driver of our group and didn't want to overindulge!) because it just looked oh so pretty! Tasted amazing too.
We already have plans to come back again in the fall so we can try out the eggnog and london fog cream liqueurs. Worth making the trip!
This is so amazingly delicious ?

YUM! Friendly, knowledgeable service, and obviously proud and passionate about their product. Tastings helped make our decisions and expand our flavours. Be sure to also check out the Pura Vida food truck on the property!
We've purchased many different products from Vodkow and are always impressed by the quality! Love the options and that it is produced locally! Such wonderful innovation!
My friend and I stopped in Almonte en route home from Ottawa. We booked a tour at the Vodkow Distillery. Wow is all that I can say to some peoples vision and ingenuity. We were enthralled by the story of how this product came to be. Kudos to the brains behind this operation and the wonderful product and your delightful staff. It was worth the trip to Almonte.
This place is a gem in the small town of Almonte. Dairy Distillery uniquely makes vodka using milk as their primary source for sugar, and then infuses that vodka back into unique creamy liqueurs you won't find elsewhere, like chocolate orange, strawberry and maple syrup. They've even teamed up with another local business with award winning chocolate (the hummingbird chocolate factory) to create a decadent chocolate liqueur which is definitely best served cold. One of the owners Neal was kind enough to show us around the factory and how they made their vision a reality and the process was both facinating and impressive to see being done start to finish all at the almonte facility. As someone who grew up in Almonte when there was not a lot of unique experiences, this is awesome to see and worth making a trip down to the small town to check it out.
I wanted to buy this having read about it online. Went to the st jacobs market at their stall but the lady at the counter was pretty racist. She continued to smile and give samples to the white couples that were after me in the line while actively skipping me. And when I interrupted her she made a face at me.Your loss as I was planning to buy some for me and my friends, but its 2024 , be less racist!
