My friend and I stopped in Almonte en route home from Ottawa. We booked a tour at the Vodkow Distillery. Wow is all that I can say to some peoples vision and ingenuity.We were enthralled by the story of how this product came to be. Kudos to the brains behind this operation and the wonderful product and your delightful staff. It was worth the trip to Almonte.

This place is a gem in the small town of Almonte. Dairy Distillery uniquely makes vodka using milk as their primary source for sugar, and then infuses that vodka back into unique creamy liqueurs you won't find elsewhere, like chocolate orange, strawberry and maple syrup. They've even teamed up with another local business with award winning chocolate (the hummingbird chocolate factory) to create a decadent chocolate liqueur which is definitely best served cold.One of the owners Neal was kind enough to show us around the factory and how they made their vision a reality and the process was both facinating and impressive to see being done start to finish all at the almonte facility.As someone who grew up in Almonte when there was not a lot of unique experiences, this is awesome to see and worth making a trip down to the small town to check it out.

I wanted to buy this having read about it online. Went to the st jacobs market at their stall but the lady at the counter was pretty racist. She continued to smile and give samples to the white couples that were after me in the line while actively skipping me. And when I interrupted her she made a face at me.Your loss as I was planning to buy some for me and my friends, but its 2024 , be less racist!

I hope to visit the manufacturing distillery some day. I've bought from VODKOW at a farmer's market and Square One shopping centre. I've also bought online and my 2 x 750mL and 3 x 250mL arrived safely. I love their Key Lime, Sunshine Orange, and Strawberry Social lactose-free vodka cream spirits. I replace part of my lactose-free milk in my hot tea with VODKOW to add flavour! Love the idea of flavoured cream vodka!

I had a wonderful experience visiting the Dairy Distillery. They have a cocktail bar where you can order drinks made with VodKow (which are delicious), tours of the facility, and a gift shop. Their products are absolutely incredible, and taste great alone or mixed. They also make fantastic gifts. Only limited products are available at the LCBO so if you like their VodKow make sure to stock up while you’re there.

Rating the Vodkow Vodka only. Average cow milk flavour starts it off but gets you drunk and is not so harsh a finish. I can’t like it though I tried.

The cream liquors don't mix well with coffee and curdles. It's a really poor alternative to Baileys for mixing with coffee. It's good on its own and possibly mixing with cold drinks.

Definitely a must visit. We did the distillery tour/tasting and the woman who toured us did an excellent job, was super knowledgeable and friendly. There is a nice bar in the back and a patio outside, with some lawn games like corn hole. A really nice spot to enjoy an afternoon. We will definitely be back!
We spent a wonderful couple of hours at the Dairy Distillery today. Started with a tour with Director of Sales, Anthony Seed. He was so interesting - a wealth in information and insight about this business and its future potential. We then enjoyed a tasting of all the Vodkow products and stayed on to enjoy the company of Angele - mixologist extraordinaire - who served us a selection of her incredibly creative and delicious cocktails. It was more than worth the hour drive from Orleans to experience such inspirational Canadian business innovation, local hospitality and truly creative products and cocktails. Well done and thank you!
