Placed online order at 9:50 am to be ready at 10:40 for pickup. Arrived at 10:42 and staff was serving another customer and told me it would just be a minute. He hadn’t even started order. (7 sub lunches) Didn’t get out of there until 11:00. Was late for party. A tip was requested when I ordered so I gave 10% expecting my order to be ready at 10:40. Would definitely not have given a tip if I had know the service was so bad.

Its stressful going there beccause the staff look stressed and flustered, the staff are very kind though. They were out of bread at 5 pm thr 3 times we went in the last few weeks.

This Subway is constantly out of major items.
For a business that's open till 9pm and being one of the few places to eat in Almonte should be better prepared.
Poor management.

What used to be a $5 foot long is now a $5.99 six inch. (This is not inflation - this is robbery). This Almonte location is really hit and miss. I think that the staff are ok - but the owner/ management are not. Toppings often seem wilted - cookies stale. I heard through the grapevine that the staff are not allowed to keep the tips and that the owner is pocketing them at this location. I can’t confirm this as I don’t work there - but if there is any truth to it - that’s the lowest of low. Either way, I think I will be taking my “sub-dollars” elsewhere.

I couldn't believe how much this cost! $40 for 1 foot long, 1 6" and 2 bags of chips and 2 pops. That is insane, also I found their prices misleading as it said it was $2 and change to combo it a fountain pop and chips and I was offered bottled pop and told it was the same price, when I looked at my reciept I was charged $4.67 per combo, no way in hell would i have knowingly paid $10 for 2 bags of chips and 2 bottles of pop.
I would give 0 stars for the price but the staff member was friendly and the subs were okay.

I had a mailer coupon on my phone and it would scan and give an error message. They said to try the app no problem downloaded and signed up. Gave a similar error message. After that it had been 45 mins and I reach out to the cashier. She called the manager who said they would only honour it with certain menu items not what was on the coupon. After realizing they were able of overriding the error but still did not. All in all poor customer service / decision from management .

This evening I went in and there was only 1 man working. It was very busy and you could tell the man was stressed. After a 30 minute wait I handed my coupon for two 6” subs, 2 cookies and 2 drinks. The coupon was scanned before he added the drinks and cookies so I asked him to add those. He added them and scanned the coupon a second time- this time he said “this coupon has already been used”. I let him know it was the second time he scanned it and that I just got it from a new coupon book. He did not agree so we asked for the cookies to be taken off. He moved the cookies to the side but never removed them off the bill, we ended up being charged for 4 cookies (we didn’t realize until we left).This review is not for the man that was working, it’s for the management In charge of staffing. This would not have happened with a proper amount of staff on a busy Friday night.

We had our annual Christmas party for our local team, The Almonte Silver Blades 60++ hockey. Since some of our players needed special dieteray needs, the staff was more than accomodating and met the requiremnt. Quit a feat when you are feeding 40 hungry players, Everything was as we ordered, and the tow gentlemen preparing the sandwichwes were very cordial, helpful and attentive to detail. Kudos tho Jay Patel and his staff. Well done.
