I’ve wanted to try the food at the Cheeky Chippy for a long time, and decided today was the day! Fish & Chips were AMAZING. The 1 piece of cod was over twice as big as a usual serving. It was perfectly cooked; lightly battered and tender and juicy and obviously fresh.The chips were hot and fresh. The homemade dill sauce - so much better than tartar sauce - delicious. I even finished off the coleslaw - again, lightly dressed and clearly made with love. A beautiful, sunny Almonte afternoon, sitting in the shade under the chippy’s gazebo. Delightful!
Fries are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. ❤️ Personally I like mine super crispy so next time I will say double crispy but I also got an unexpected bonus…2 deep fried pickles! Thank you guys for your amazing food and service! I will be back again soon 😘

Got a great recommendation. If you anywhere near the village of Almonte you must try this food truck. Delicious fish and chips. Had the 2 piece haddock nice quality fish crispy well seasoned batter. Thick cut fresh cut fries wonderful. They also do fish burgers and shrimp poboy. Also homemade corn dogs. Good value Good food.

Had a small fry here it was good. The lady at the window was absolutely amazing to talk with… went to support another food truck. The guy cooking didn’t seem to care, like wouldn’t even say hi 🤷♀️ . The lady at the window, made up for it. 😁 I drove over an hour to go here.

Saw this food truck when in the area. I had the halibut sandwich and my husband got the 1 piece halibut. Fantastic fish, best I’ve had in a long time.. chips are crispy and perfection!

Maybe I’ve been to the UK too many times but sadly I can’t say I enjoyed the fish and chips here. Fish wasn’t totally cooked through and was overly greasy. Chips were hot but just one the outside. Coleslaw was awesome!
