“As always, service and food was awesome! We tried the burger of the month...a Carribean Chicken sandwich. Just the right blend of heat and sweet. The staff was great, as was the atmosphere. Definitely our favourite place to dine in or take-out from in the 'Burg.”

“My family and I stopped here today, during an outing along the surrounding two lakes and river. What a great atmosphere as soon as we walked through the doors - the staff all greeted us with big smiles. All of the servers were amazing, especially towards my 16 month old grandson. I will absolutely say this is a family friendly restaurant, with fantastic homestyle meals - we ordered the fish tacos, broasted chicken, quesadilla, and kid's chocolate chip pancakes. With such a good experience, we will definitely return to explore more from their menu. Thanks Mealtime Express!!”

“The food was amazing! So fresh & tasty! And, in the beautiful little town of Amherstburg across from the park. The owner is so sweet. She's known my husband since he used to work at a bank in town, and remembered him years later, and was so happy to see him. I want to go back asap! We had a Korean bbq bento box, spider roll, California rolls, and soft shell crab appetizer. Also my husband got to try a complimentary seaweed salad. Did I say the food was amazing? I'm getting hungry just thinking about it. Definitely a gem of a restaurant!”

“I just had the most wholesome Christmas experience here. I am visiting from Alberta and I order a pizza here while visiting family. The young man who manages this place offered me free pop, so I tried to leave a tip. In the most humble and polite way possible he refused my tip and thanked me graciously for my business and wished my family a Merry Christmas. Very rare to experience this level of genuine quality customer service. As a side note, this is the best pizza I’ve had anywhere in the country. Thank you!!!”

“Unfortunately, I had the steak chunk sandwich, on special....their name for it was a Cheesesteak sandwich...chunks of reheated old steak, with ample grizzle, without cheese...couldn't eat it...but the onion rings were great...used to love going there, but the food has dropped in quality...sad. Did get ample apologies from our waitress, and it's certainly not her fault...she did go inside, after seeing the mess on my plate...comped half the price, even with 3/4 left...oh well...thank you, I guess.”

“I always enjoy Sweet Charlie's rolled Ice cream located inside of the Pizza Hut.I've had the premium Ice cream once and the Vegan Ice cream a different time and found both to be delicious.I love fruits, and chose Banana, blueberry and strawberry as my 3 toppings, and found the fruits to be fresh and tasty.The staff is friendly, and it's interesting to watch them chop and roll the Ice cream.Would definitely recommend visitng Sweet Charlies for an outing.”

“Visited this bar in the off-season. The weather was chilly but still ready for a beer. Found this gem through Google Maps. I was pleasantly impressed to find Corona and generous slice of lime. That's me...happy! My husband had a Walkerville Honest Lager and a pint of Sons of Kent which was their rotating tap. He loved both! The bartender was pleasant...Abbie...and a lot of fun to chat with. We were joined by a few other people who appeared to be locals and had a great discussion between all of us about sports, local places to go an of course, the beer. Unfortunately, we didn't have time for a meal but the food looked good. Recommend finding your way over to this clean, friendly and fun place if you are visiting Amherstburg.”
