A cozy café and bakery — excellent coffee, sweet treats, sandwiches, and pastries. It’s known for a warm, inviting vibe and is a favorite local spot to hang out with friends.

I love this place each time I come! One of the best drinks is the hot Tiger Chai Tea Latte, the desserts are also delicious. A very cute place to visit and go for a walk by the water.

I've been a returning customer of caffeine and co for quite a while. This is the first really poor experience i've had, and I'd like to share it with the hope that it may help them realize
what goes on and how customers may perceive this business. We made our way downtown Amherstburg to see the beautiful lights by the waterfront, and have a special visit with Santa. It was a magical evening! We decided on the way back through we were going to stop and get a hot drink. We ordered one hot chocolate, one latte and one candy cane christmas cookie. it was $21. Im not complaining whatsoever about the cost I expect to pay premium for quality products and service. I have some problems with the way service was provided and the product.
Receiving those two drinks and one cookie took 25 minutes. Yes, there was a line and yes, being a special occasion downtown it was particularly busy, but the issue I have was with the staff working behind the counter. They were seen providing preferred service to what appeared to be a group of friends sitting at a nearby table, anytime there was any kind of request made (requests were actually made with hand gestures across the restaurant) that table was served first despite the other patrons waiting patiently in line. At one point a customer who was waiting politely inquired as to how much longer it may be before their order would be ready only to have the employee laugh in her face and mock her. Staff behind the counter continued to have their own conversations and did not seem phased by the customers waiting patiently for their orders. there were multiple customers who complained about the temperature of drinks, when I received the hot chocolate it would be suitable temperature for a child. Certainly safe to drink by no means was it actually hot. The overall experience has brought to light that I could certainly get a better value going somewhere else.

On the pricier side but you are paying for food presentation and atmosphere. Ordered the sunshine bagel. Generous amount of salmon and a WHOPPING of cream cheese. Very festive decor.

Such a great little pretty spot for coffee, light fare and delicious treats. Service is incredible and the atmosphere is lovely. Prices very fair for what you get. Very accommodating for my gluten allergy as well :). Definitely worth the visit if you’re in Amherstburg!

Came across this place randomly one morning and it is probably one of the best coffee shops i have been to in a while. The place was so cute and the place smelled even better. Their cookies and dessert all looked amazing. I specifically tried the tiramisu brownie and it was to die for 100/10.

There are so many great cafes where the owner is warm, present, and loves talking to their customers.
Sadly, that wasn’t the case today.
I visited the cafe and asked to speak with the owner, who was there. The staff kindly asked me to wait, which I didn’t mind—but even after 30 minutes, she continued chatting casually with her team, never once acknowledging me.
It’s disappointing when business owners act unavailable, especially when they’re right there.
A good cafe isn’t just about coffee or decor—it’s about connection, respect, and staying grounded.
