The coffee is good, the service great, and the atmosphere is unique and comfy. I did not try the gelato, which comes from a local maker, because there were few simple traditional flavors on offer that day. If I were a resident, I would definitely make this my home caffè/café, although I would encourage adding crema and a seasonal fruit sorbet to the gelato offerings.
