Visited this bar in the off-season. The weather was chilly but still ready for a beer. Found this gem through Google Maps. I was pleasantly impressed to find Corona and generous slice of lime. That's me...happy! My husband had a Walkerville Honest Lager and a pint of Sons of Kent which was their rotating tap. He loved both! My wife and I eat at Gilligan's once a week and I always get the same thing. Jack Daniel's burger on a gluten free bun. They have the best gluten free buns I've ever had. Service is always excellent!
Gilligan's Amherstburg gives a really good food experience. From using real Angus beef and forming the burgers by hand to being looked after by attentive wait staff, it's superb. In addition to this there's a great selection of local beer and wine, and the entire place is spotless clean.
