My family and I stopped here today, during an outing along the surrounding two lakes and river. What a great atmosphere as soon as we walked through the doors - the staff all greeted us with big smiles. All of the servers were amazing, especially towards my 16 month old grandson. I will absolutely say this is a family friendly restaurant, with fantastic homestyle meals - we ordered the fish tacos, broasted chicken, quesadilla, and kid's chocolate chip pancakes. With such a good experience, we will definitely return to explore more from their menu. Thanks Mealtime Express!!

Awesome train table of Boblo Island, although it wasn't running when I was there, despite the owner's best efforts. The food was good and there's plenty of options on the menu.
Parking: Plenty of parking in front of the restaurant. There is also more in front of the Dollarama.
Kid-friendliness: It has a train table for children (and adults) to look at.

Been going here since I was a kid, honestly an amazing family restaurant with kind staff and great food. I consider this place a staple of Amherstburg. Whether it’s breakfast lunch or dinner Mealtime never disappoints!
