Service was slow—LONG wait between courses. Bread had to be ordered separately. Appetizer blood orange salad was mostly radicchio. The meagre portion of fennel was wilted with brown edges. Very disappointing. Hamburgers were not cooked adequately—sent back twice and still inedible. French fries were cold and appeared to have been reheated. Other meals were lukewarm. Obvious deficits acknowledged by server who was very kind. Desserts comp'd as a result. Noise level made it challenging for older diners to hear one another until the room emptied out (due to the prolonged wait between courses).

food is way over priced and not that good. the mill itself if beautiful, gorgeous views...I hardly touched my meal as it was pretty bad.

On arrival, I was delighted to find the stair access well shovelled and safe. My waitresses name was Taya and she was delightful, helpful. I was a little earlier than the lunch crowd and was seated a in view of the waterfall... nice touch. My tomato soup and grilled cheese was delicious and I really enjoyed the side salad... fresh vegetables, and delicious dressing. For dessert, I had the mulled cranberry Pavlova. It was scrumptious. I loved the glass in which the water was served and the tap-on lamp. I have not been to the Mill in many years and it was as wonderful as I remember it. I shall be back for Sunday brunch with friends.

Went here to celebrate our anniversary. We got married here the year prior. Requested a window seat overlooking the waterfall. We did not get our requested seat, we were sat on the opposite side of the window with some view of the waterfall. They had the Sunday supper menu. We had the beet salad a year ago and was excited to have it again. It was not as good as the recipe they had a year ago. We also got the cocktail shrimp. The sauce that it came with was not the usual cocktail sauce. It tasted like ketchup with lots of paprika and was poured on top of greens inside the glass. My husband ordered the prime and that was delicious even though it came out cold. I had the langoustine bucatini that was recommended by our server. It was underwhelming. For dessert we had apple cranberry crumble and we enjoyed that. Overall, the ambiance was appreciable and the service was up to the mark.

Food was pretty good, ambience and atmosphere quite nice. Overall experience was quite lovely. Would enjoy for special occasions only due to value.

This was my first time at Ancaster Mill (for brunch) and I see why it's so popular. Good value for the money. Imagine my surprise when the waiter told me the price includes unlimited Ceasars and Simosas! The food and drinks are delicious. The wait staff quickly and discreetly remove your used plates and glasses. The outside surroundings are beautiful so make sure to leave some time to explore and take pictures before or after your brunch.

The seafood is outstanding, Fresh Oysters, Shrimp, crab legs, etc. all excellent and plenty of it. The hot buffets, though, are simply not hot enough. We always pick 12 noon which is the prime time and the food should be hot. The poached eggs were cold, and most of the other dishes served in the food servers were lukewarm at best. Please, please do something about that. We love this annual event with our friends and I leave the same comments each year. Service, always good. The mimosas, bloody Caesar's etc are very good.

We had a great time, our server Greg was kind and attentive to grabbing plates and topping up drinks. Otherwise you serve yourself for food and non alcoholic drinks or coffee. The food is great, lots of choices

Went there for dinner last night. The food was great and the atmosphere of the restaurant was great as well. We had a reservation but we were sat 30 minutes past the reservation. I guess why bother making a reservation if you have to wait. Hostess was a bit rude to us asking when we'd receive the table.

The service was excellence the food was fine. My wife's chicken was great and we both believed my short rib was dry. The biggest disappointment was the ambience /treatment for our anniversary dinner. There was a request made to be in the falls room and I understand not being able to get us in but instead of sitting us down anywhere nice we just get placed in the middle of the floor at a 4 person table (only 3 tables, anywhere else would of been better). So not a very memorable experience. Really disappointing, since we got married at your establishment and feel like we were treated as an after thought. Really unfortunate for what we wanted to be a special night.

Would not dine again. View is pretty but not worth the price. Food is bland and lacks depth, only thing we ordered that was half enjoyable was the short rib and the bread plate. The calamari was basic and chewy, Scallop and Pork belly special was a odd combination with flavours not mixing well, scallops were rubbery and mushy. Squash Risotto tasted very bland, only dish we ordered where we did not even want to take it to go. (Server was nice about it and comped the dish as we clearly did not enjoy). All of the dishes minus the risotto had a overpowering amount of salt. Service overall at this price point can be improved. Table was not wiped in between courses.

First time experiencing it was great. Really good food (quality and quantity). Really good service. Really good ambience. 10/10 recommend.

The setting and view were beautiful, but our dining experience didn't meet expectations. Our table was located beside the washrooms, which was quite distracting. The food presentation was nice, but both the appetizers and mains lacked freshness and flavour. Service also felt a bit impersonal. Hoping it was just an off night, as the ambiance was lovely

Attention to details were appreciated from the anniversary card to the bubbly to celebrate along with our server and of course the picture perfect location. It was a night to remember.

Lavish Sunday brunch at its finest! Fresh fruit, pastries, perfectly poached eggs, sausages, bacon, crepes, waffles, Oysters, Crab, chicken, prime rib, Brisket and salmon - the spread was incredible! Mimosas flowed and the service by Greg was top-notch. 10/10 would recommend!
