The atmosphere ..the fare ( food ) and our waitress..I hope I got her name right ( Amanda )was fantastic!
We thoroughly enjoyed our time there.
Oh, the Guinness was fabulous!
Two out of three meals arrived with cold mash, reheated and still cool. One was still cold, to their credit they remade the meal This time perfectly.
Good selection of beers on tap.

Coach & Lantern offers a fantastic atmosphere with friendly staff. The Guinness is fabulous. It is a cool pub, the 3rd oldest building in Ancaster, with classic pub-style food and a true time capsule feel. The food is excellent and a very reasonable price, with great food and friendly staff. It has the atmosphere of many English pubs, with stone walls, fireplace, dark wood, and is cozy. There is a decent selection on beers on tap and ciders. The servers are fantastic. It is a great after work bar. Lots of family dinners with young children is a normal thing. Worth a visit with family or friends.
