I was at Ancaster Mill for a wedding last night and not only was it a beautiful venue but all of the staff was SO kind and helpful with my dietary restrictions - and the food was amazing! With my dietary restrictions I'm used to getting something very plain and tasteless when I'm out at events, but the food at Ancaster Mill was kind to my sensitive stomach and absolutely delicious!

Amazing spot for food. Great atmosphere and service. It was my husband's and I anniversary and they really took care of us. Best table at the restaurant and sparking wine for our anniversary. Couldn't ask for more. The food was just spot on, great overall. Would be happy to recommend and return again!

Excellent service, food and ambience for a special lunch. The staff kindly accommodated our request for a larger table in the waterfall room. Service was excellent. Good portions very generous and excellent frites. One suggestion is to put a mirror on the stone wall in the waterfall room so people sitting with their back to the water can see it. Thank you. Recommended!

Amazing restaurant. Beautiful, service is top notch. I always get the pan seared pickeral which I think is the best meal I've ever had. I took my in-laws here to ask if I could marry their daughter and I don't think I could have picked a better restaurant. We will be back often.

Great place for a special occasion. It was our 20th wedding anniversary, we were seated by the window. Food was outstanding, I had the pickerel my husband had the short rib. Both delicious and filling. Mango margarita was nice and refreshing too! Will definitely come back.

We had a large group on expense account. We were loud and probably a bit too rowdy but our server handled it all very well. Never told us we had to be quieter. Never objected to our having fun. All ten of us agreed we would come back. And the food was phenomenal!

The service is always so good-attentive but you never feel rushed to make decisions .I thoroughly Enjoy the ambience. You can actually talk and hear the other person speak- no loud music.Ver relaxing.

Dessert was not as described. Blueberry tart was a not great cheesecake. Dry and boring. The pickerel was too salty. People behind us received a sorbet palette cleaner, we did not and it was not offered. Service was cold and not attentive. We expected far better food for the price.

Our experience was FANTASTIC!!! The Ancaster Mill is so beautiful and the food was fabulous. The menu is great, lots to choose from. Would definitely recommend and definitely going back again ?
We haven't been to the Ancaster old Mill in a few years... we went for our anniversary. Everything was perfect... the food was exceptional, the service was very attentive and the venue is spectacular!! We will definitely be back soon!!
This place is one of a kind and the ambience/views are 1000/10. Staff was welcoming and very professional. Our server Kyle was pleasant, professional, cooperative and very helpful. I went for dinner so food choices due to my own dietary restrictions were limited but overall good. I would highly recommend this place

I love everything about this place; the setting, staffs, food, and atmosphere. The only reason why I couldn't give 5 star is because they did not have a changing table in their toilets. Of course, I couldn't check every single washrooms they have but at least I went to 3 different washrooms on the ground floor near the restaurant but not a single on has a changing table. I understand this is relatively an upscale restaurant but doesn't mean that the guests cannot bring their children along. It is quite disappointing for a place as nice as this doesn't provide something extremely basic and I presume also bylaw.

The food selection is mediocre for the price, presentation for the food items are on par with much lower priced establishments. Under stuffed for waiters and waitresses, had to wait 10 mins or more for ordered drink. There is no table arrangement, no proper instructions for first timer. Overall, for group of 4 Adults one kid to spend $450 all in, there are better choices out there. Will not be going back.
