Bacon, sausage, toast, and coffee were all good, but black pudding was dry. The servers, while efficient, were not friendly, and the dining room is cold and austere, partly due to the high ceilings.

From the moment you step through the door, it’s clear this family-owned restaurant is something special. The food is delicious with perfectly balanced flavours and traditional Scottish dishes available. The decor is charming, atmosphere is bright and the service is wonderful. If you’re looking for a place that’s friendly, welcoming and honours tradition — with great all day breakfast — look no further. Many thanks to Rachel and her team 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿💕.

Went to Butties today with my mum and it was as amazing as ever! The tuna panini was exceptional and the chips (my mums fav)
Being from Wales I’m able to get my favourite British sweets, crisps and chocolate we can’t get in Canada !
Thanks Nicole for the great service as usual and Lee & Paul for the delicious meals!
