Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen

No more Mary Browns! I have been eating mary Brown’s chicken since it opened in Ontario. Loved it, mostly because they used to give you real honey for the chicken. Well, I was introduced to Popeyes a few years ago. It took me a few times to really enjoy it, only because I was stuck on the lack of honey. lol
Well, since moving to Ancaster three years ago, I am now a huge Popeye fan. The gentleman that owns or manages it, is truly a lovely person. Always friendly and grateful. The first time I went in, I said to the person with me, I wonder what their fries are like, and the man gave me some to try.
Their sandwiches are fantastic! Big pieces of chicken, perfectly cooked. As opposed to Mary Brown’s, whose chicken is now less than half the size of these ones.
The chicken is cooked so perfectly here. I’m afraid to try any other Popeyes again.

I ordered 3 sandwiches over skip. The bag only contained 2. When I called the restaurant to get it resolved, I was first transferred from the manager to the individual who packed it and back to the manager, both of whom were blaming the driver despite the bag being sealed and no evidence of tampering. When I told them that there was an item missing, they continued to avoid taking responsibility and continued to ask me to “check the bag” despite having been told 3 times it wasn’t there. There was a solution reached but the way in which the situation was handled was very poor and their customer service could use some improvement/training.

I got the 5-piece tender combo, and the food is always fresh and delicious—that’s why I love coming to this location. Highly recommend!

10 minute wait for a poutine and the food wasn’t even fresh. It took the workers 5 minutes to even start making it after standing around and talking, one employee half-finished making the poutine then walked away only for another employee to finish making it several minutes later, using at least 3-4 big scoops of gravy making the food just unappetizing. Cold fries, too much gravy, and a 10 minute wait.

Waited 30 mins for 8 piece was the only costomer and the restaurant smells like 💩 (like something was moulding)

15 minutes wait with no heads up for 2 combos. What I assume the stern looking owner taking orders with zero talking or smile. Charge for 1 dip sauce on a $30 order. Washrooms looks like they haven't been cleaned in months. Food was burning hot and greasy fresh from the fryer with no warning.

Staff is very welcoming, food is good as well , i usually get chicken tenders and they 10/10 . I will be coming back anytime soon .

I went to this place today and it was super busy . But the staff managed to serve everybody nicely . Food was super fresh . And I definitely recommend the sandwiches they were amazing.
