I planned an overnight trip to Apsley just to check out this restaurant and I was pleasantly surprised. Amazing trained chef, super kind staff, and deadly good homemade food (had the schnitzel of course) with large portions. The decor is so cozy and cute. We also purchased premade frozen yumminess to take home. I'll definitely be back.

This was a great place to eat. The owner was so nice. I didn't get a picture of our meals but they were so yummy. And the blueberry tarts were the best I ever had.

Such a cute place! Lori was so pleasant and greeted us warmly, she honestly made us feel like we were family visiting not patrons. The basic schnitzel sandwich and coffee was amazing!
We Will definitely be back, and I highly recommend!

We stumbled upon this place on our way home from our vacation and weren't we just blown away! I want to say thank you for providing us with such a high level of care and customer service. Absolutely excellent. Definitely looking forward to coming again.
And the food!! OMG the schnitzel sandwich was just to die for. A must stop for sure

Very mid. Expected a lot based on reviews. I'm a huge fan of this kind of food, as well, so my standards are high.

But I was disappointed. Not a fan of the coleslaw particularly, but everything else was just ...fine to meh.

Stopped in on the way to a friend's place. We didn't feel like fast food...I'm so glad we stopped! Such a charming place with a good amount of outdoor tables.

The service was fantastic. A lovely woman served us. She delivered the food to our table with extra cutlery and condiments for our schnitzel and pierogies. We shared a Little Bear dinner with pierogies and a kids fries. It fed 3 of us and cost less than 3 meals at Mcd's.

So glad it was open and will definitely stop again.

Main store was closed, signage saying no bathrooms, go drive 10 min up the road (my IBS loved that) so I had to make another stop on our road trip. To top it all off the schnitzel was soggy and flavourless. At least the woman taking orders was friendly.

Dont stop here, you'll have to stop again.

This is what casual dining is all about...delicious food, laid back dining, excellent service! The lady serving us was super nice, guiding us patiently through our food selection even though she was clearly busy. My husband asked me to say he loved the sauteed onions lol. We got the schnitzel and perogies and it was yummy! Coffee was very good and they made a fresh pot just for us. We are so glad we stopped. Highly recommend!

Very slow and unfriendly. The coffee was proudly described to us as a French Roast and it tasted like melted plastic. We drive by often and finally made a point to stop here, which I would recommend to stop in Bancroft instead.

Amazing food! We ordered schnitzel, pierogies and poutine. Everything tasted awesome and homemade. The garden patio was a quaint by beautiful sitting area and the service was exceptional. Will return on our next trip to the cottage!
