“Mabuhay!Great little Motel in the woods!Clean washrooms and bedding! Quiet and relaxing while we were here in the off season. Great breakfast! Love the coffee not too fancy but gets the job done!The family running the show work hard and you can see it!Definitely not the Hilton but a great place to stop for the night.TV and cable worked great and better than chain hotels!If we stayed longer we wanted to try their dinner menu. Breakfast was a great option and filled the spot!Thank you for a great stay and meal!Rooms: Clean cozy and great for a motel! Not the Hilton but was cozy and clean.Safety: Safe area no issues here. “After finishing the 16km trail at Silent Lake, my husband and I stopped at Swiss Bear Cafe Bistro for lunch, and we are so happy we did! We both ordered schnitzel sandwiches with a large fries to share to dine in, and we were shocked how quickly the food was prepared and even more floored with how scrumptious every bite was! The coffee was fresh and the perfect way to end the meal.The inside of the dining area was as cute as could be, really sticking to the ‘bear’ theme! The owner and staff are incredibly kind and have made us want to come back anytime we are out this way again (the food did too but they were just so great!)Thank you a great meal and time!”
“Amazing burgers! Giant size and just different than your regular burgers! Fries are so good, salty and fried nicely! Grilled cheese sandwich was good too!Great food, service and wonderful merchandise displayed around the store made my local artists and creators. Wonderful place to offer local small businesses a spot to display their products.”
