“For The Halibut Fish & Chips is the best! I have had the York River Special, the Halibut Dinner, the Battered Mushrooms and the Clam Chowder, just to name a few items on the menu. Every meal I've had, has been amazing. I highly recommend stopping in and enjoying the best seafood in the Bancroft and surrounding area. The staff are wonderful, the food is spectacular and the prices are great. While I haven't tried everything on the menu yet I have made a dent in it. If you want a great meal at a good price, stop in and give them a try.”

“Truly very Delicious food no matter what you order & the presentation and quantity is also spot on ! Great variety of food choices for all meal times. Prices are reasonable & their coffee is my favourite in town. Always fresh always on. staff are very accommodating and personable. Restaurant is only Open on specific days & at specific times as it’s located in a small community so check out their website for more details. It’s a family run small business, with limited manageable seating. You have the option to make a reservation if you’d like to confirm you get a table. Just know this, the people who go there truly rave about the food and the owners, take pride in serving their customers. Tasty tasty foods. You won’t be disappointed.”

“I am a lumber jill and I was doing a hand hewing demonstration at the farm town park in Stirling today. It was very hot. At the end of the day I headed straight for the Bancroft Brewing setup. I asked for the sawmill lager. I work for the lcbo and I have seen that we have a couple of these in our big store. If the rest were as amazing as the gorgeous lager ...I want them all brought in. Deep sunlight, thirst quenching gold with light hops...it was pure bliss to me after a long day of swinging a 12 pound broadaxe, in 36 degree weather. I have found that the Northern Breweries tend to make the best beer...this one is no exception. Great craftmanship...5 stars...delicious. Thank you. Deidre Reitav”

“Always Wonderful dairy products . Very busy at peak time's but the friendly staff crank them through. Good parking. A couple of picnic tables outside. Prices reasonable for serving....truth be known if you can agree on a flavor...Buy the 1 1/2 liter tub for better value.”

“This place, amazing. The staff is extremely friendly, the food is great, it's clean, and it's an awesome place to eat with friends. One of the men there, I can't remember his name, but he remembers people's orders really well.

Vegetarian options: You can request no meat, they have a veggie sauce, and there's many vegetarian options

Dietary restrictions: You can make custom orders, and there aren't many items there with certain allergens like peanuts or nuts

Kid-friendliness: They are extremely friendly with kids, me and my friends (aged 12-15) were treated extremely well

Wheelchair accessibility: It's pretty spacious, but I don't think there is an wheelchair friendly bathroom or anything like that”

“I cannot say enough good things about Tim Hortons in Bancroft. I drove through on a busy holiday Monday and it was packed…inside and in the drive thru. The employees were super efficient and very friendly!”
