I was trying to surprise my wife with our two favourite dishes and it failed. The tomato sauce tastes like they used noname condensed cream of tomato soup (I should know from my campus days). I would t wish this bland-ness on an assisted living facility.

A cozy and welcoming vintage pub atmosphere with both pub fare and Indian dishes. We were happy with the quality and portion size of the fish (cod) and chips, and the chicken lababdar. The waitresses were very friendly, and one of them was able to assist with a lactose concern and got the chef to make a dairy-free lababdar that turned out great. Lababdar is not something available at all Indian restaurants, so it was great to see, and I'm also used to rice or naan costing extra, but some was included, which was a pleasant surprise. It cost $20-$25 per person, which is average for the area, but we had an above-average experience.

Very good food, we were passing by the town and decided to get a couple beers and some wings and we loved it! Servers were very nice and welcoming. We will definitely visit again next time we go through Arnprior.
