The rice was excellent, and most of the food especially the Barg and Koobideh was very enjoyable. The only dish that didn’t quite meet expectations was the Joojeh, which wasn’t as flavorful as the rest. We also enjoyed the complementary Tahdig. However, there were two major issues that really affected the experience. First, the lady who took our order was quite rude. I specifically asked for just one salad and one pop, but she ignored my request and charged me extra for an additional salad. And she kept on speaking to others and correcting other customers whilst taking my order. Second, the air conditioning directly above the tables made it impossible to enjoy the meal. Within minutes the food turned cold, and we were all shivering while trying to eat.

This restaurant is truly a gem in the area! They serve the best kabobs…juicy, tender, and full of authentic flavor. Before your main dish, you’re treated to crispy tahdig with khoresh, free of charge, and it’s not a small portion!such a thoughtful touch. Every meal is served in beautiful copper dishes, staying true to Persian tradition, and each dish even comes with your choice of salad or drink. The service is warm, the atmosphere welcoming, and the food feels like home. If you’re looking for an authentic Persian dining experience, this is the place!

We got the Vaziri kabob breast which was really good.
The Vaziri kabob has the option of full salad instead of the rice which I found very convenient.
It was my first time trying the Ghormeh sabzi and it did not disappoint.

Reasonable price, but aside from that, warm hospitality and excellent traditionally cooked Persian food. I wish them more success.

The best chicken BBQ and koobideh I’ve tried in GTA. With best price and friendly staff.
I strongly recommend it for dine-in and take out.

This is a no-frills Iranian restaurant focusing on great quality food. The variety is impressive, the quality is top-notch, and the prices are very reasonable.

it’s not really a typical sit-down restaurant—it’s more of a takeaway place. But they do have some dining space if you prefer to eat in.

I highly recommend it!

I ordered Kashk e Bademjan, Barg and Vaziri leg. I would give 6/10 to Barg, the rest were awesome. Nice complementary Tahdig. The drawback was fly issue🪰

Disappointing Experience

We used to love coming here, especially because they always served us crispy tahdig from the ghormeh sabzi before the main dishes arrived. But tonight, at 9 PM, we were met with a completely different (and disappointing) experience.

A rather unfriendly woman took our order and claimed they had run out of ghormeh sabzi and tahdig. We were surprised, but accepted it. However, while we were eating our koobideh, a bald man, who looked like the manager, was loudly taking orders from another table after us, and said, “Here’s your tahdig and two plates of ghormeh sabzi!”

We couldn’t understand why we were lied to. It felt disrespectful and unfair.

On top of that, the restaurant floor was dirty, with used napkins and butter packets on the ground. When I went to wash my hands, there was no sign on the restroom door—I accidentally opened the kitchen door before realizing the gray door next to it was the bathroom.

The restroom was also dirty. The toilet paper holder was broken, there was no toilet paper, and one roll of hand-drying paper was just sitting on the toilet tank.

Even the rice next to the koobideh was undercooked and hard. Last time, the koobideh came with grilled pepper and onions as garnish, but this time that same woman didn’t include it for us; but we saw the next table (who paid the same) get it.

Very disappointing. Unfortunately, this place is not what it used to be.
