Amazing koobideh, joojeh, tadig with gormeh sabzi, barg...very very tasty food for a non persian who grew up eating Canadian food. Highly recommended.
Absolutely terrible! This Ghormeh Sabzi stew was nothing like what it should be. It was fatty, greasy, and tasteless. The Ommani lime was not cooked at all it was like a piece of stone!! I’m shocked this was even takeout. Don’t waste your money like I did!
it took them 34 min to prepare my order which was ONE Kobideh take out. There were not a single customer having lunch there, Instead of a clear explanation they treated me like a fool.
Disappointed Experience — Not What It Used to Be
I’ve been to this restaurant before and used to really enjoy it. That’s why I came back. Unfortunately, this time was quite disappointing.
1. When I arrived and walked up to the counter, the first thing the staff told me—without any “please” or courtesy—was to close the fridge door next to me. Not a great first impression.
2. I ordered Baghali Polo with Mahiche. When it arrived, the rice was extremely dry—almost inedible. I tried eating from the other side of the plate, hoping it would be better, but the entire portion was the same. I gently stirred the rice and realized it was all dried out.
3. I politely asked them to replace just the rice. I understand that sometimes rice gets dry on the surface due to air exposure—it happens. After a while, they called me over and said, “Actually, we’re out of Baghali Polo,” and showed me an almost empty pot. That’s when I realized they probably served me the last portion—dry and old—because they didn’t have enough left. (I could hear arguments between the front desk and the kitchen staff about the situation)
4. They replaced it with plain rice. I started eating again, only to notice that the mahiche (lamb shank) was also overcooked and dried out. Even the bone had turned dark, a sign it had been overcooked for far too long.
5. Despite all this, I finished my meal without making a fuss. Before leaving, I went to the counter to thank them and ask for my receipt. What they gave me as a receipt was messy and nearly unreadable—I honestly couldn’t even tell what I was charged for.

I’m really disappointed, because I used to like this place. I hope they take this feedback seriously and improve the quality and service again.
Really tasty shawarma. Seemed like the Kabobs were the way to go, but I was short on time. Busy, smoky and hot. Would go again!
I ordered the Chicken Breast Kabob with salad. Very high quality chicken. The food was so authentic it was like being in Tehran. I will be returning!!
Best in Aurora!!! Been to many and this one is best!
Noor Kebab is a hidden gem!
The prices are amazing for the quality and quantity of food you get.
If you dine in, they serve everything on traditional reusable plates, which I really admire👍🏻it adds such a nice, authentic touch.
You can choose to have your meal with a soft drink or a salad, and I highly recommend the salad—it was so fresh and had a delicious, flavorful sauce.
Definitely recommend Noor Kebab if you’re craving Persian food in the area. You won’t be disappointed!
Noor Kabob in Aurora is amazing!
The food is super tasty and always fresh. We’ve ordered for parties several times — always ready on time and very presentable. Nazi is so friendly and helpful, a true professional. Highly recommended for both everyday meals and special events!
Me and my two other friends during every lunch in our high school, we pay a visit to this restaurant to have a chill time and eat there. unfortunatel, they don't care about the customers and one time charged us two drinks and never gave us one on the house for going everyday for 4 months. recently, my friend was in this washroom, and this very rude worker started banging on the door until he came out not being able to finish his washing dudies. there food is horrible and raw DONT COME HERE UNLESS YOU WANT A BAD EXPERIENCE

I used to visit Noor Kebab a lot but sadly, my recent experience has been very disappointing. The quality of the food and service has declined significantly. When I ordered takeout, I noticed that the meat was undercooked and raw, with visible blood in the plastic bag. This is a major health concern and completely unacceptable. The kitchen hygiene seems to have deteriorated, which is alarming for any restaurant.
