I had an amazing time dining at Swiss Chalet recently! The food was delicious as always, but what truly made the experience memorable was the warm hospitality and exceptional service provided by Emanuela.
She was incredibly patient, friendly, and attentive throughout our visit — making sure we had everything we needed and more. From helping us with recommendations to ensuring our table felt welcomed and cared for, she made us feel right at home.

I would not recommend this location. The service was very poor—half of my order was missing, yet they still insisted on full payment. When I asked the staff at the counter to confirm if the entire order was ready, the employee told me to check it myself because she couldn’t see without her glasses. This came across as very unprofessional. I strongly suggest avoiding the takeout service here. Also, clear communication is essential in customer service—please ensure staff are able to communicate effectively with customers in English.

I did not expect to review Swiss chalet when I stopped in here for lunch in between hockey games at a tournament… The atmosphere wasn’t incredible but the service was absolutely excellent, the service is the reason I really wanted to do this review as it was top-notch! The food came out fairly quick and even though they informed me that the chicken dish I ordered wouldn’t be ready for 15 minutes and we were on a time crunch, the server suggested another plate that was absolutely delicious! to sum this up, the food was good the atmosphere needs a bit of work but the service was absolutely incredible! If I’m ever in Aurora again this restaurant will definitely be a good auction!
Unfortunately I did not save the receipt with our server’s name on it but We ate at this restaurant September 28 2025 a little after lunch.

Waited 45 minutes in order to be told that they will finish with a 10 people table before getting to our order! When they finally brought some of the food, it was so gross, we couldn't even touch two of the meals. Cheese on the poutine smelled and tasted as if someone chewed it and threw it up, the chicken lacked any seasoning and was not fresh, some of it still had frost from the freezer. The fries were dry, even the lemon slices from the drinks tasted rotten!

Very very very slow service BY THE KITCHEN took 30minutes for just a salad. Chicken was cold. The server was very nice. Heard lots of screaming from the kitchen and disrupted our meal.
