Great little bakery and the ladies are always willing to help. Remember cash though. Raspberry Cream rolls are amazing!!!

Small town bakeries are the best, and Country Bakery is no exception. Made a quick stop at the end of a Saturday and got a whole bunch of goodies at cheaper prices given they're closed on Sundays and Mondays. We got:- The sausage was smoky and meaty (no fillers here).- The pie pockets were so good! Packed with overflowing jam in pockets that were richly buttery. The assorted packs were great in that we were able to try different flavours (apple, blueberry, cherry, peach, raspberry, strawberry).- The elderberry pie was overly generous with the fruit and jam, and had a buttery crust (that I wish was a tad nuttier).- The apple fritters were just ok, though to be fair we got them at huge discounts since it was end of week. It's an amish bakery so you pay with cash. They were very welcoming and think were a bit amused by us just loading up on all this baked goodness. Can't help it if it's that good!

What a wonderful little shop. Ginger cookies were fabulous and the summer sausage is to die for. We will be back before heading home to BC to buy more sausage. Also the recipe book they sell in store has some wonderful recipes and I cant wait to try them.

This place rocks. I drive from St. Thomas to get baked goods here. Don't forget to bring cash money!
Sucks it’s so far out of town but my waistline is happy. There pie pockets as they call them we call them hand pies are out of this world. I’m a pie crust lover over the filling and these are my perfect ratios + deep fried??? And sugar glazed worth the 1 drive for sure I’m stoking up next time going to try freezing!

Wow!! It's so hard to just choose a few items. You want to try everything! So delicious. From bread to pies, to cookies, to ready-to-make foods. You will not be disappointed!

Country Flavour-Rites Bakery is located in Aylmer, ON. They have to die for baked items, pre cooked foods, veggies, fruit and even flowers! They specialize in Wood Fire Baking! My favourite is anything they make with apples but most recently the Apple Pie Pockets!I just have to add this story of today’s events!I stoped in quick and had my disabled husband in the car and my disabled father in law coming from our first lunch since Covid started. I wanted to stop and buy my disabled mother in law who couldn’t come, flowers and a special treat. I was about to pay and my card was declined. The staff was so nice when I had to leave everything saying I’d be right back to look for my bank card in my car. I couldn’t find it and was starting to worry. I rushed back in to pay with cash from the bottom of my purse and was told the lady at the counter just purchased my items for me!! I was shocked as it was over $30. I offered to pay her back. She said no. I asked if she was sure, she said yes. I couldn’t stop thanking her. I later found my bank card. While eating these treats I’m thinking of this generous nice lady and how she touched my whole family on this day. If she only knew that we truly do have it tough with all 3 suffering from illness and in wheelchairs and myself running ragged to have a nice day with family we haven’t seen for over a year because of covid, this helped beyond words. Such a great town and tasty place. This day will be remembered and I hope to pay it forward. Thank you.
Home made for sure, made with real lard
