My family and I just ate at Gus & Guido’s and the whole experience was PHENOMENAL. The server was quick, efficient, and friendly, the food was fabulous, and Chef Steve was so welcoming he made it feel like we were dining at his personal home. Be sure to try them out if you haven’t already!

Great little place. Been open for almost 5 years. The owner previously had a restaurant in Brantford, now in Ayr. A great addition to Ayr for a more classy, non-pub style restaurant option. Plated food was generous. Saw most patrons bringing home spare for another day. The owner came out and talked with all patrons after his cooking was not required. Kind of a feel good warm atmosphere. Will go again when passing through the little town of Ayr.

Personalized service you don't get anywhere anymore. Steve obviously is very passionate about food and cooking and he loves to share that. He even sent us one with some bones for our dog :)

Ruined my birthday! My husband and i were so looking forward to this outing, only to be totally disappointed! When i made reservations, chef steve was excited we were coming - 1 hr drive away. Got there for 7. 20 mins for drink order. Another 30 mins for food order. Bread as app was burnt, saganaki when it finally came, the pitas were burnt. When Chef Steve finally came to say hello, we realized order was wrong. He said he would cook it although it wasnt what i ordered. Told him it was what i ordered. When waitress came to advise we would be waiting longer. We said no, we would be leaving. So, if you are a friend of the chef, you are golden - but if someone he doesnt remember- good luck . Others that came in after us were served first! I have never written a bad review before- but this was just so disappointing.
