“Went for a late lunch on a Sunday. The wait for a table was not very long, and there is a bar/picnic area where you can have a drink while you wait for your dining table. Amazing selection of drinks and food. I'll definitely be back!”

We were at Abe Erb in Ayr for a 50th birthday party on July 4th, 2026. The party was in the downstairs part of the business. I would say there was approximately 40 people at the party. Our server was Christina and I am telling you she was amazing! She took everyone’s orders for drinks and promptly brought them to us. We were all moving around, which I know makes it difficult to keep track of everyone but she did it and with a smile on her face. She had to deal with several guests trying to talk to her and get drink orders in all at the same time, but she was very calm and pleasant with everyone. She never once got irritated with anyone and to top it all off she learned everyone’s names and was addressing us by our names as if we were all regulars at this establishment.
Christina is absolutely wonderful. I do hope the owners/managers see this review specifically about her and do something to make her feel special. She would deserve it!
The above restaurant was lovely and food was pretty good. They had a good variety of food and drinks on their menu. All the staff were very kind and friendly. Definitely a place I would visit again!”

It was not an extensive buffet, but whatever was on offer was very tasty, with nicely balanced seasonings. Best fresh naan bread I've had in a long time. The butter chicken was melt in your mouth tender, so was the lamb. Probably the best Indian food in the KWC area. Will be back for sure.”

“We had wonderful service and food at the Swiss Chalet on Fairway Road in Kitchener! We were seated almost immediately. Our professional and friendly server, Betty, stopped by the table within a couple of minutes and took our order. In the past, we have had horrible wait times at the Swiss Chalet on Weber Street (40 minutes or more) so we decided to give Swiss Chalet on Fairway Road a try. Boy, we were amazed and pleasantly surprised. We received our food within ten minutes. It was delicious! The chicken was tender and the market vegetables were cooked perfectly. Betty, our server, made the experience at Swiss Chalet all the better by the attentive and professional service that she provided. We will be back to Swiss Chalet, Fairway Road, Kitchener. “I recently visited BarBurrito and honestly had a really great experience from start to finish. The first thing I liked was how fresh all the ingredients looked.
