“We had wonderful service and food at the Swiss Chalet on Fairway Road in Kitchener! We were seated almost immediately. Our professional and friendly server, Betty, stopped by the table within a couple of minutes and took our order. In the past, we have had horrible wait times at the Swiss Chalet on Weber Street (40 minutes or more) so we decided to give Swiss Chalet on Fairway Road a try. Boy, we were amazed and pleasantly surprised. We received our food within ten minutes. It was delicious! The chicken was tender and the market vegetables were cooked perfectly. Betty, our server, made the experience at Swiss Chalet all the better by the attentive and professional service that she provided. We will be back to Swiss Chalet, Fairway Road, Kitchener. I had the wings. Kayden was such a delight it was my birthday she provided me with a chocolate chip cookie . As much as I tried she insisted that I take the chocolate chip cookie as she felt even though I got the wings in me that I would not be able to fly .
I decided to eat the cookie while I wrote this wicked awesome review . It is almost gone now but I asked for a diet with two limes which I got the first one but the fact that she remembered on my refill was life changing .

Sad to take a star away, today was the worst, ordered two sandwiches and two coffees, order wasn’t on the screen and once I was done ordering, no thank you, no order total, just a “drive up”. I have always been an advocate of this location, as it’s always been great service. When I’m told by the (appeared to be the drive thru leader) that I should look at their debit machine screen for my total like most do to get my total. I wear glasses as I’m near sited, so I couldn’t see the total on the screen and it wasn’t on the drive thru screen. Could have just verbalized my total but chose to argue about it. Sad, it has been becoming less customer service orientated recently.”

“Yesterday evening, an employee at this Tim Hortons showed me an act of kindness that I won't forget. After I realized I had accidentally left my wallet at work, she trusted me and kindly gave me a coffee, even though I couldn't pay at the time. I promised I would return the next day to pay for it.

Today, after getting my wallet back, I returned and explained the situation to the staff. The three employees working at the counter immediately knew who I was talking about and seemed genuinely surprised that I had come back to pay. One employee thanked me twice and mentioned that many people who make that promise never return.

That experience reminded me that genuine kindness and honesty still exist. The employee who helped me yesterday showed incredible compassion, and today's staff were just as appreciative and welcoming. Moments like this are what make a business stand out.

It's easy for people to leave negative reviews after a bad day, but I believe it's just as important to recognize outstanding customer service. I went in and was promptly greeted, and the young lady that helped me was so pleasant and patient while I asked a million questions. I purchased a standard gluten/dairy free loaf of white bread. When I got home, I cut myself a generous slice, popped it in the toaster and buttered it. I had very low expectations to be honest, but what do you know… IT WAS FANTASTIC! Unfortunately I dove face first into my pizza before remembering to take a photo. The homemade Caesar dressing is also something quite special. The service: Staff was so attentive and on their game. They had us full of drinks, appetizers, mains, and dessert (in a lot of cases) in under two hours. We have some older members, some who work midnights and such, and the timing really meant a lot to them. We have had exceptional service in the past but the organization of this small kitchen and the serving staff is impressive! Everyone under that roof tonight showed so much pride in what they were doing. We will be talking about this stop for quite some time. Thank you for having us!”

I write this post today though because of one drink in particular. Their coffee slush is a recent summer addition to the menu. And let me tell you. It is exquisite. If you have ever had the lesser drink (ic*d c*pp) you will be blown away by how delicious, refreshing, and sweet this drink is. It blows other coffee slush out of the water. It is the perfect take on a summer coffee that also feels like a treat.
