“Riza was Amazing! She created me as I requested with My very picky palette. I wasn't sure what I felt like other than a strong espresso and something not sweet. When I expressed that to Riza she knew exactly what to create. She also guaranteed me if she did not like it that she creates something different she did not have to. It was a 10 plus plus. Probably one of the best macchiatas I've ever ever had the liberty of trying and tasty and she created it all on her own, she deserves it 10 plus star for creativity with a smile. Great service with a smile. Lifting my spirits after a hard day and making me one of the best drinks I've ever had, the Liberty of drinking and any of my Starbucks with my drink. I look forward to seeing you the next time and hopefully you have something different for me. I'd love to see what you come up with next! “The Starbucks at Sportsworld in Kitchener is my favorite spot in the city for a coffee break that actually feels like a break. 5 stars, no question.

*Location + Vibe*
Right in the Sportsworld plaza with easy parking and right off the highway, so it’s super convenient whether you’re running errands, coming from the gym, or heading out of town. The store is bright, spacious, and way less cramped than the mall locations. Lots of seating with big windows, so it feels open. They’ve got the usual mix of comfy chairs, tables for 2, and a couple bigger spots if you’re meeting friends. It’s clean, modern, and always smells like fresh coffee the second you walk in.

*Service*
The baristas here are the real reason I keep coming back. Fast during rush hour, friendly even when it’s busy, and they actually care about getting your order right. Mobile order pickup is seamless. I’ve had them remake a drink once because I asked for it less sweet, and they did it with a smile. They also do well with custom orders – oat milk, extra shot, light ice, whatever you need.

*Drinks + Food*
Everything you expect from Starbucks, done well. Iced coffee, lattes, cold brews are all consistent. The seasonal drinks hit here too. Food case is always stocked – breakfast sandwiches in the morning, protein boxes and pastries in the afternoon. Portions are standard but the quality is good.

*Why this one stands out*
1. *Parking*: So much easier than downtown or Conestoga Mall. In and out in 10 minutes.
2. *Space*: You can actually sit and work or read without feeling rushed. WiFi is solid and there are outlets.
3. *Traffic flow*: Because it’s in Sportsworld, it gets busy but never feels chaotic.

If you’re in Kitchener and want reliable coffee with great service and zero hassle, this Starbucks delivers. Great for a quick grab-and-go or to sit for an hour. I stop here at least 2-3 times a week and it’s always a good experience.“

“cathy was wonderful, i was wanting to try the new smores drink but made similar to the shaken espresso while making it dairy free, she knew exactly what i meant and made it happen for me seamlessly and was lovely to speak to. drink was out quickly and wasn’t too sweet while still maintaining that s’mores taste i was hoping for. great experience from start to finish. may cathy have the best day!“

“28th March, around 12:30 - I was picking up a mobile order and all the staff members were smiling and enjoying their work!

They were seemingly busy but the cashier took a moment to ask how my day was & my plans for the day! Another one of them also offered me a free brownie!!
