“Always good fresh tasty food here, and cheaper than other Chinese restaurants. My absolute favourite is the A -1 Rice with vegetables, shrimp and scallops. Owner is a nice guy. Always friendly.
Parking: Parking is small infront of entrance.“

“One of the best Dim sum in Waterloo. Service is proactive and appropriate. Beef with soy sauce rice noodle is not cooked well, the steamed bean curd roll with pork is a little bit salty. The rest of the food is great. A good place for Cantonese food.“

“The food is pretty good if you like the western take on Chinese food. It's been around this neighbourhood for time and our go-to for Chinese takeout as well. The atmosphere is clean and staff friendly, but the decor is olde school, as you would expect from this long-standing, reliable place.
Kid-friendliness: They have Highchairs
Wheelchair accessibility: Looks to be accessible as the doors open inwards and there is a graduation in slope from parking lot to door entry at the sidewalk“

“I've been looking for a Chinese restaurant as my go to ever since Shanghai in Preston shut down. While each one has one thing that has been exceptional, China Taste has really been the best one. The decent price, the exceptional portions (the chicken to breading ratio on the chicken balls is spectacular). And the service was fast and so polite. This will be my choice the next time I crave Chinese food“

“For delivery, order directly at Mei King not through Uber/Skip as they have their own drivers. Mia is happy to describe their dishes and offer selections. Fabulous and tasty food!!! Always delivered hot and yummy. Thank you Mei King!“

“The food was a 10/5. Orderd for 6, everyone was flabbergasted with how good the food was. Real whole chicken in the chicken balls, easily the best General Tso chicken I've ever had (it's very sauce heavy if that's an issue for someone else, but I like the extra sauce on the noodles). I would recommend just getting the broccoli instead of the mixed vegetables. Broccoli was cooked perfectly, not too crunchy and not mushy, just a tiny bit of crunch left on the outside and soft on the inside.“

“Been going here for years and have had no bad experiences despite what some others have written. The only downside is due to inflationary costs, portion size has gone down and cost has gone up just like every other place. Service has been quick as I always order at the desk. Oh, I have noticed new tables and seating both in the dining and waiting area.o“

“Food was very good. Nice wok hai on the beef ho fun. Orange chicken needed to be spicier. Chinese broccoli in garlic sauce was excellent. Portions were very large. Service was very slow but gracious. There were two very large tables though and only one server. It seemed like most of the guests knew the owners and were ordering off menu items which looked amazing. Will be back.“

“The food was delicious but a little on a higher price side. Service was good and the food came out in good time but not instantly. A good sign that it's made fresh. Certainly the taste of the food indicated that as well. There wasn't anything we ordered that we were unhappy with. The sesame seed balls and cheung fun rice rolls were delicious and one of the best we've had. The siu mai are really large. There is a charge for tea. The place has a typical and traditional Chinese restaurant vibe. A good amount of parking can be found around back. We would come back to this place!“
