The restaurant is owner operated and most often visited by Chinese international students in and around the Waterloo-Laurier area. Their style is Chaoshan hotpot, so the base can be plain and blend, but the meat and vegetables are overall fresh and tasty. The mango slushes are really good and a must try. The service is subpar, but given the number of servers they have is expected but still underwhelming.
The best hot pot in kw and probably the cheapest too.
My friends and I come here once every two weeks. It's our favorite place. They make the best barbecue sauce ever
