Mixed experience here but overall good. I stopped in right at open after work. I immediately was drawn to the chicken parmesan cause I love me a chicken parm. The place is intimate and has character right downtown Ayr.

I went to Gus and Guido’s Backyard today for dinner as part of Tricity Foodie Ninja’s monthly dinner. This was my first time going there and I truly enjoyed my food . For appetizers I had saganaki which was flambéed tableside and for main course I had chicken souvlaki . I couldn’t eat it so I packed my main course for tomorrow’s lunch . I also learned today that the owner Steve cooks on thanksgiving and Christmas gives out meals for free who is in need . What a fantastic...
The food is absolutely amazing, and the prime rib steak is out of this world — perfectly cooked, full of flavour, and worth every bite.
If you haven’t been yet, you’re seriously missing out! Chef Steve puts his heart and soul into every dish, and it truly shows.
