I recently had a disappointing experience at the Tim Hortons located at 1011 Northumberland Street in Ayr, ON NOB1E0. I witnessed what appeared to be a customer politely requesting an exchange for a biscuit that was old. The employee initially agreed to the exchange, which seemed like the appropriate response. However, before the exchange could be made, the owner intervened and rudely refused to honour it.The owner's behaviour was incredibly unprofessional and disrespectful. She was rude and obnoxious towards the customer, which made the entire situation uncomfortable for everyone present. As a patron, I was taken aback by the owner's lack of empathy and customer service skills. No one deserves to be treated in such a manner, especially when simply requesting a reasonable exchange for a subpar product.It's disheartening to see someone in a position of authority behave in such a manner. As a customer, I expect better treatment and respect from the staff and management of any establishment. This incident has left a sour taste in my mouth, and I will be hesitant to return to this Tim Hortons location in the future. The owner should reflect on her actions and strive to do better in providing a positive and respectful environment for her customers.

Horrible customer service, I'd give less than 1 star if I could. The food was stale, the owner would not refund for the food. I'd expect a lot more from a Tim Hortons

If I could give this location zero stars, I would. My recent visit to Tim Hortons was extremely disappointing. When I raised concerns about the poor quality of my food, instead of addressing the issue, the owner ( who refused to provide their name) disposed of it and refused to provide a refund. When I mentioned the poor food handling happening in the store, she then asked me to leave the store and threaten to call the police. Her behavior was extremely unprofessional!! and based on the other reviews below this is her usual behavior. I will be reporting this incident to Tim Hortons' head office. I advise others to avoid this location!!

LYDIA the owner is absolutely disgusting. Her behavior and lack of customer service is appalling.She not only threatened me when I asked for her name but also said I was harassing her when I asked for a refund or replacement. Marley and the rest of the staff all left the counter and looked terrified of her. She’s clearly unwell and I’ve escalated this matter.If I could give zero stars I would.

It's so loud! But food and service are great. There were a bunch of people in their and some of them were really loud. On top of that the alarms you have for your cooking are also loud. I know you can't control the customers, but those darn alarms, do they have a volume?

I ordered a chicken bowl meal with the wedges and asked to get a blueberry fritter on the side as well. After being told my order was coming, 20mins later all I got was the chicken bowl when I said I ordered the meal they gave me a fritter and rudly said that completes my meal; in explaining that I ordered the meal with the wedges and asked for the the fritter in addition they then told me it would be an additional 10mins for the wedges and then wanted me to pay agin for the wedges. This location no matter the time of day, they NEVER listen to take your order properly and take FOREVER to get you what you ordered. It should never take me 10mins to get a coffee and a donut, or 30 mins for a meal; to top it off the food wasn’t even hot (barely warm) by the time I got it, no attempt to make anything right. Do yourself a favour and skip the bad experience and long wait times ; take your money and business where they know customer service, listen to and appreciate their customers and know how to fix a simple mistake without berating the customer. Very poor customer service and record slow speeds is what you’re in for at Tim Hortons; they are not what they used to be, avoid them.
